  • In January, the sale of Kemer and Adıgüzel Hydroelectric Power Plants was approved by the High Council for Privatization.

  • Göktaş I Hydroelectric Power Plant, which was established in Adana, started power generation.
  • Yalova Wind Power Plant, which was established in Armutlu, started power generation.
  • ADM-GDZ Call Center, which increased the capacity of the existing call center four times greater, was opened in Denizli with the participation of Berat ALBAYRAK, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, Nihat ZEYBEKCI, Minister of Economy and Mustafa YILMAZ, the President of Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA).
  • Bereket Energy Generation Company won the tender for privatization of Kemer and Adıgüzel Hydroelectric Power Plants.

 

2015
  • The capacity utilization rate of Yatağan and Çatalağzı Thermal power plants was increased to 80% as a result of maintenance and improvement works.
  • Göktaş II Hydroelectric Power Plant, which was established in Adana, started power generation.
  • Söke Wind Power Plant, which was established in Aydın, started power generation.
  • Bereket Enerji Grubu A.Ş. was established.
  • As the Energy Market Regulatory Board (EMRA) decided for distribution and retail companies to be carried out by separate legal entities, the titles of the electricity distribution companies were changed. The name of the electricity distribution services company in Aydın, Denizli and Muğla provinces was changed to ADM Elektrik Dağıtım and the name of the electricity distribution services company in İzmir and Manisa provinces was changed to GDZ Elektrik Dağıtım.

 

2014

 

  • Elsan Electric purchased 50% share of Heerman GmbH, one of Europe's long-established enameled wire manufacturers.
  • Aksu Hydroelectric Power Plant, which was established in Düzce, started power generation.
  • Uşak Wind Power Plant, which was established in Banaz, started power generation.
  • Dereli Hydroelectric Power Plant, which was established in Giresun, started power generation.
  • Elsan Electric won the tender for privatization of Yatağan Thermal Power Plant and South Aegean Lignite Enterprises in December.
  • Elsan Electric took over the properties of the Çatalağzı Thermal Power Plant in December.
  • Bereket Energy Generation started production of solar panels with Parla brand with an annual capacity of 150 MW on a 34.300 m2 open area and 8.200 m2 closed area in Denizli Organized Industrial Zone.

  • Gediz Electric Distribution obtained the electricity distribution license for Izmir and Manisa provinces in 2013.
  • In 2013, Gediz Electric Retail company was taken over.
  • GDZ Energy Investments was established in 2013.
  • Toros Hydroelectric Power Plant which was established in Adana, started power generation.

  • Çırakdamı Hydroelectric Power Plant, which was established on Aksu River in Giresun, started power generation.
  • Kumkısık Biogas Power Plant, which was established in Denizli, started power generation.
  • Aydem Electricity Retail was established in 2012.
2011
  • Aydem Science High School, which was completed with the contributions of Aydem, started education and training.
  • A protocol was signed to build a student dormitory with the capacity of 200 students next to Aydem Science High School.
2009
  • Koyulhisar Hydroelectric Power Plant, which was established on Kelkit River in Sivas, started power generation.
2008
  • Turkey's first private electricity distribution license was obtained in 2008 by leading the way once again in energy industry. Aydem started to provide electricity distribution service in Aydın, Denizli and Muğla regions.
  • Kızıldere Geothermal Power Plant, which was established in Sarayköy district in Denizli, started power generation.
2007
  • Construction of Göktaş Hydroelectric Power Plant was started on Seyhan River in Adana.

  • Mentaş Hydroelectric Power Plant, which was established on Seyhan River in Adana, started power generation.
  • Gökyar Hydroelectric Power Plant, which was established in Muğla started power generation.
  • Electricity generation license tender of Göktaş Hydroelectric Power Plant was secured.

  • All Dalaman I-V Hydroelectric Power Plants, which were established in Muğla started power generation.

  • Feslek Hydroelectric Power Plant, which was established in Aydın, started power generation.

  • Bereket Geothermal was established.

  • Transfer of operating rights of TEDAŞ's no.7 power distribution facilities in the Southwest Anatolia region to Aydem was approved.

  • The first installment of Dalaman Hydroelectric Power Plant, which was established on Dalaman River in Muğla, started power generation.
1998
  • Bereket II Hydroelectric Power Plant, which was established in Denizli, started power generation.
1997
  • Bereket Enerji Üretim A.Ş. established Turkey's first private hydroelectric power plant by realizing a first.
  • Bereket I Hydroelectric Power Plant, which was established on the Menderes River in Denizli, started power generation.
1995
  • The first energy generation company in the group, Bereket Energy Generation, was established to produce electricity from domestic and renewable sources.
  • The name “Bereket”, was inspired from "Bereket Stream" which is fed by Çürüksu, a river reach of Büyük Menderes River and 5 km far from the center of Denizli.
  • Construction of the Bereket Hydroelectric Power Plant on Bereket stream started as having the characteristics of the first autoproducer status power plant in Turkey.
1991

 

  • Aydem Southwest Anatolia Energy was established.
  • Based on the decree of the Council of Ministers dated 09.10.1991 and the Law No. 3096, Article No. 3, Aydem was assigned to perform electricity generation, transmission, distribution and trade for 30 years in the area covering Aydın, Denizli and Muğla provinces.
1985
Tümaş Marble was established.
  • Tümaş Marble was founded in order to market at home and abroad by utilizing marble reserves in Denizli.

  • Tümaş, one of the non-energy business involvements of the Group, emerged in the natural stone sector as a manufacturing supplier of domestic and international special projects.

1980
Elsan Elektrik Founded.
  • Ceyhan Saldanlı, Ali Yağlı and their two partners established Elsan Electric, which is the first company of Bereket Energy Group.

  • Producing 30-40 tons of enameled magnet wire at the beginning, Elsan increased its production capacity in a short time and has become able to export more than half of 30.000 tons of production annually.
